Most AI companies show you a model and a chat box. We build a stack.
Four layers, each with a single defensible responsibility.
MindHYVE's technology is organized as four conceptual layers, numbered from the foundation up: the Substrate is Layer 01; the Operating Systems an institution actually buys are Layer 04. Between them sits a compound reasoning architecture and a roster of named Digital Employees. Read it top down — from the product on top to the substrate that grounds it.
The whole system at a glance. Rotate it, then click any layer to read its single responsibility — or keep scrolling for the runtime path and a close look at each layer.
How one request moves through all four layers.
The layers are not a diagram for diagrams' sake — they are the path every request travels at runtime. It enters at the top, resolves down to the substrate, and returns as a verified, auditable recommendation.
- 01Operating System
A request enters inside a workflow
A professional acts inside a structured, auditable Operating System — a clinician ordering decision support, an attorney building a demand, an educator authoring a course, a scholar opening an inquiry. The request is never a free-form chat; it carries the context of the task it belongs to.
- 02Eve · meta-orchestrator
Eve classifies and routes
Eve receives every request. A Microsoft Phi-3 classifier determines task type, depth, and modality, then routes to the right domain compound and reasoning path. Nothing reaches a model until it has been placed.
- 03Compound Reasoning Model
A trained reasoner plans the steps
A domain Small Reasoning Model — a Microsoft Phi-4 14B fine-tuned with LoRA on the matching Eve-Genesis edition — builds the reasoning scaffold, plans each step, and decides which model executes it. This is a learned orchestrator, not a prompt-engineered router.
- 04Compound Reasoning Model
Frontier models execute; the reasoner arbitrates
Three frontier models, composed per request and selected best-fit per release, execute the heavy steps. Disagreement between them is signal, not noise — when two converge and one diverges, that is the case worth a human look. The reasoner arbitrates and composes the result.
- 05Eve · meta-orchestrator
Verify before acting
Reasoning is separate from execution. Every step is logged to the model that produced it; the composed answer is verified before anything acts. That separation is what makes the system inspectable — explainable to a regulator, an auditor, or opposing counsel.
- 06Digital Employee
The Digital Employee acts, within bounds
Only then does the named Digital Employee surface a recommendation, inside the bounds a human set. The AI reasons. The professional decides.
The composition at the heart of steps 03–05 — the five-component Eve-Fusion™ F5 compound — is the same in every vertical. Read how Compound Reasoning works.
One request, five models, one answer.
Eve-Fusion is a compound, not a single model. Press Run to watch a request move through it — or click any stage to inspect it.
Stage 1 / 8 · Request
A user asks
A request enters through the Digital Employee’s Operating System — the surface that frames, scopes, and governs everything that follows.
Each layer earns its place, or it isn't a layer.
Substrate
Built, not rented wholesale.
Everything rests on infrastructure we engineered. Eve-Grid™ is our cloud architecture on Microsoft Azure, purpose-built for compound-AI workloads — private-networked, reached only through Microsoft Entra identity and Azure Key Vault, with no standing keys. Eve-Genesis™ is our proprietary synthetic-reasoning corpus: ten domain editions that train reasoning modes, not memorized answers. Eve is the meta-orchestrator that routes and verifies. And for theology, the substrate includes IPSC — the Islamic Primary Source Corpus.
- Eve-Grid™ — Azure, Managed Identity + Key Vault, private-only, Entra-authenticated
- Eve-Genesis™ — synthetic structured-reasoning corpus, ten domain editions
- IPSC — 617,931 graded hadith across 128 classical works, 68,299 narrators, embedded in 3,072 dimensions on Azure AI Search
Compound Reasoning Models
Eve-Fusion™ F5 — one architecture, every vertical.
A compound reasoning model is not a single model. It is a runtime composition: a Phi-3 classifier, a Phi-4 reasoner trained on the vertical, and three frontier models, coordinated together. The five-component compound is identical across healthcare, law, education, and theology — the only thing that changes is which Eve-Genesis edition fine-tunes the reasoner. Enter a new vertical and it is a new edition and a fine-tune, not a new platform.
- The reasoning layer is a separately trained model — auditable and replaceable
- No single-model failure, no single-vendor lock-in: frontier slots are swappable
- The full story lives on the Compound Reasoning page
Digital Employees
Named agents with bounded agency.
A Digital Employee is a named agent with a persistent identity, a single domain, and bounded agency — it reasons and proposes, but acts only within limits a human sets. Eve orchestrates the family; Arthur teaches; Chiron supports clinicians; Justine works litigation; Theo produces evidence-based theological opinions. Six more — finance, insurance, real estate, retail, technology, and marketing — are on the roadmap, each waiting on its Eve-Genesis edition, not a new architecture.
- Persistent identity and domain ownership, not a generic assistant
- Bounded agency — the system proposes; the human disposes
Operating Systems
The layer an institution actually buys.
Each Operating System wraps a Digital Employee in structured, auditable workflows for one profession — ChironAI™ for clinical decision support, ArthurAI™ for learning, JustineAI™ for litigation, TheoAI™ for theological scholarship. Four are shipped and in market. The reasoning is agentic; the control is human; the workflow is the product.
- Four Operating Systems shipped: ChironAI™ · ArthurAI™ · JustineAI™ · TheoAI™
- Structured workflows, not a chat box — defensible by design
Not a demo. Infrastructure.
The architecture is opinionated because regulated work is unforgiving. Five principles hold across every layer.
Azure, end to end
One cloud, governed. Every workload runs on Eve-Grid™ — our Azure architecture — under enterprise identity, networking, and compliance posture, not a patchwork of API keys.
Identity, not keys
Services authenticate through Microsoft Entra Managed Identity and read secrets from Azure Key Vault. Surfaces are private-networked. There are no long-lived credentials to leak.
Multi-tenant and strict
A strict-TypeScript NestJS core, isolated per tenant, with per-sector compliance built into the substrate — HIPAA, attorney–client privilege, FERPA — not surfaced through prompts.
Composition over lock-in
Frontier models are swappable components, not dependencies. The architecture survives the next two frontier generations because the reasoner depends on no single model being best.
Reason, verify, then act
Reasoning is separated from execution and logged with provenance. Nothing acts until its reasoning is verified — the difference between an assistant and a system you can defend.
Deployed, not aspirational.
This architecture is the production stack behind every MindHYVE product in market — running for real institutions across three continents, not a slide in a deck.
