HYVE Labs

The research and development engine of MindHYVE.ai, Inc. Where new compound architectures, Digital Employee designs, and substrate experiments are tested before productization.

HYVE Labs originated in July 2022 as Bill Faruki's personal Microsoft Azure R&D environment — the place where the architectural pattern that would become Eve-Fusion was first prototyped, where the Eve-Genesis training methodology was calibrated, and where the earliest Digital Employees came online.

When MindHYVE.ai, Inc. was incorporated on July 24, 2024, HYVE Labs was folded into the company as its official R&D Division. It remains, in spirit and in practice, the same workspace it always was: the place where the next architecture is drawn before any of it ships.

New inventions are prototyped here. Productization happens downstream — through the Operating Systems, the Digital Employees, and the customer-facing surfaces of the MindHYVE portfolio.

Current research direction: Metacognitive Reasoning Architecture (MRA)

As of March 2026, HYVE Labs introduced a new system category — the Metacognitive Reasoning Architecture (MRA) — as the architectural successor to the Eve-Fusion™ compound reasoning family. An MRA sits above foundation models in the technology stack, with zero parameters and zero training data. It does not generate tokens. It reasons about how to reason — orchestrating model selection, parallel exploration, adversarial verification, recursive backtracking, and episodic learning across reasoning episodes.

MindHYVE's named MRA implementation is AXIOM™, currently in active R&D inside HYVE Labs. AXIOM is not a shipping product; the next-generation Fusion architecture being researched here is what AXIOM will become.

The public introduction of the MRA category lives in two essays from March 2026:
